Mep Senior QA QC Engineer

• Develop and implement rigorous QA/QC procedures for MEP systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to identify potential quality issues and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate with project teams to facilitate quality control training sessions, enhancing the team's understanding of MEP standards.
• Review and approve method statements and ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Monitor and report on the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
• Lead root cause analysis for any quality failures, proposing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with the design team to provide feedback on quality concerns during the design phase to mitigate issues before execution.
• Assist in the development of project quality plans and policies, ensuring they meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in MEP quality assurance, integrating relevant insights into the QA/QC processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the MEP sector, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
• Professional certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) are highly desirable.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects, showcasing expertise in diverse MEP systems.
• Proven track record of implementing successful quality control initiatives, resulting in measurable improvements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of identifying potential quality issues before they escalate.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation and compliance to support audit processes.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
• Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across disciplines to achieve project objectives.
