As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide quality clinical care.

Some Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Report to the charge nurse and complete delegated tasks in a timely manner.
2. Assist residents with personal care tasks, i.e., hygiene, grooming, toileting.
3. Including mobilising, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair.
4. Maintain documents in resident healthcare records.

Skills and Experience:

1. New Zealand Certificate in Health and Well-being level 2 or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
2. Experience as an HCA and a desire to build a career within a growing industry.
3. You are on your feet most of the day, so it is important you are physically fit and able to work the shifts assigned.
4. People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Available Shifts:

1. Weekly roster includes weekend and possible night shifts.

Successful candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand, hold a full New Zealand driver's license, be able to drive to different locations, and pass reference checks.
