Purchaser- Plumbing

Purchaser - Plumbing will be responsible for managing the procurement process for plumbing-related materials, equipment, and services for ongoing and upcoming projects. This includes processing of Material Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Purchase Returns, and adhering to the budgets and delivery schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of plumbing materials, equipment, and services.

Responsibilities:

1. Procure plumbing materials, equipment, and hardware for projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, specifications, and budget constraints.
2. Prior to ordering, check all ex-stock availability in central stores and sub-divisional stores.
3. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment, material, and systems to support site installation works as per approved work program.
4. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve any procurement-related issues.
5. Handle all project material inquiries.
6. Prepare LPO based on final quotation approved by Managing Director.
7. Process Material Requisition, Purchase Return, and Good Receipt Note through ERP system.
8. Submit original certified Supplier Invoices & DO to Finance Department.
9. Coordinate with Project Storekeepers and Central Storekeeper.
10. Participate in Annual Inventory Stock Taking.

Qualifications:

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

Years of Experience:

Minimum 7-8 years UAE experience as a purchaser handling plumbing materials.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Prior experience with ERP software with emphasis in purchasing.
2. Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
3. Able to manage complex projects independently from inception to execution.
4. Able to work with minimum supervision and keep track of important and urgent projects.
5. Able to make decisions analyzing risks from all aspects.
6. Adhere to company Procurement & Compliance Policies and processes.
7. Should be multi-tasking and organized.

Communication and Interaction:

1. Interaction with Head of Department, Project Managers, Engineers, and Storekeepers.

Compensation:

Salary Range – AED 10,000 to AED 14,999.

Medical Insurance for Self – Category B.

Leave Travel Allowance of AED 1,650/- per annum as per Grade 8.

Sick Leave and Annual Leave as per Federal Law No 33 of 2021.
