Field Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment on-site.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues during installation and operational phases.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensure all activities adhere to HSE standards, local regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for electrical works.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to project stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with on-site field experience.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and API).
• Proficient in using electrical engineering software and tools.
