Job description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Site Monthly Refresh & Promotions – Asia:
  • Artwork Creation: Utilize Illustrator and Photoshop to design promotional artwork that reflects our brand while appealing to local aesthetics and preferences.
  • Content Planning: Collaborate with Digital Merchandisers to devise visually compelling content strategies tailored for the Asian market, incorporating local trends and cultural insights.
  • Timelines: Develop and manage timelines for content launches to ensure timely delivery and alignment with promotional schedules.
  • Imagery Sourcing: Identify and source culturally relevant imagery that engages our Asian audience, utilizing design principles to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Content Sheet Confirmation: Confirm design and content strategies with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive brand message.
  • Translations: Oversee content translations, ensuring they are culturally relevant and visually integrated into the designs.
  • Image Management: Download, edit, and resize images in Photoshop to meet our branding requirements, maintaining high-quality visuals.
  • KIBO Staging: Upload resized images to KIBO staging, ensuring they are optimized for the site and enhance user experience.
  • Sign-off and Go Live: Coordinate with all teams for final approvals, ensuring that all content and designs go live seamlessly.
  • Automatic Content Upload: Manage uploads for automatically scheduled content, including navigation elements, ensuring consistent design across the platform.

SEO Blog Post:

  • Content Creation: Adapt existing blog content to suit the preferences of our Asian audience, enhancing engagement through visually appealing layouts.
  • Product Integration: Curate and select images that complement the blog’s themes, using design techniques to highlight featured products.
  • Page Building: Construct visually engaging template pages tailored for various Asian markets, utilizing design best practices.
  • Landing Page Addition: Add blog posts to the "Inspire Me" landing page, enhancing visual appeal to promote visibility.

SEO PLP Copy:

  • Keyword Research: Conduct research focused on Asian market trends and keywords, integrating design elements that support SEO efforts.
  • Copy Adaptation: Adapt copy to reflect local language and cultural nuances while maintaining visual consistency.
  • Keyword Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, enhancing visibility with a strong design component.
  • KIBO Integration: Integrate optimized content into KIBO, ensuring visually cohesive presentation.

PPC (Pay-Per-Click):

  • Campaign Artwork: Design eye-catching draft artwork for campaigns aimed at the Asian market using Illustrator and Photoshop, adapting sizes as needed for PPC platforms.
  • Image Sourcing: Source images that align with campaign themes, ensuring they are compelling and visually engaging.

Required Skills to be successful:

  • Excellent English skills (speaking, writing, and reading). Chinese would be an advantage.

Desired candidate profile

1. Content Creation:

  • Graphic Design: Create high-quality visual content, including images, infographics, banners, social media graphics, presentations, brochures, posters, and other marketing materials.
  • Copywriting: Write and edit engaging, SEO-optimized copy for websites, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, and marketing materials. Ensure content aligns with the brand’s voice and tone.
  • Multimedia Content: Produce multimedia content such as videos, animations, and interactive elements for digital marketing campaigns and websites.
  • Content Strategy: Develop content plans based on business goals, marketing strategies, and audience insights. Align design and content with the overall marketing strategy to drive engagement, leads, and conversions.

2. Branding and Visual Identity:

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content, visual assets, and design materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and overall brand identity.
  • Creative Direction: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to define the creative direction for campaigns, new product launches, or rebranding initiatives. Ensure design and content elements reflect the company’s vision and messaging.
  • Design Standards: Establish and maintain consistent design standards across various digital and print media, ensuring cohesive branding and high-quality output.

3. Content Management:

  • Website and Blog Management: Oversee content updates and revisions for the company’s website and blog, ensuring that the content remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with SEO best practices.
  • Social Media: Design and create social media content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., ensuring consistency in branding and tone. Monitor and analyze social media engagement to adjust content strategies.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and design email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional emails that are visually compelling and written to engage recipients effectively.

4. SEO & Content Optimization:

  • SEO Best Practices: Implement SEO strategies in content creation to ensure visibility on search engines. This includes using relevant keywords, optimizing headlines, and incorporating meta tags and alt text in images.
  • Content Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of content across platforms, using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to analyze traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. Use this data to optimize future content.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing for content formats, designs, and messaging to evaluate effectiveness and optimize performance.

5. Collaboration and Project Management:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and other teams to align content with campaigns and product launches. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and other creatives to produce visual content.
  • Project Management: Manage the creation and delivery of content, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Use project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Basecamp) to track and manage content workflows.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Work with clients, if applicable, or internal stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and iterate on design and content to meet expectations.
