Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Associate who will support the identification and engagement with B2B intermediaries. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to develop skills in building and maintaining relationships with agents, attorneys, immigration consultants, and investment firms.
You will assist in expanding our partner network and provide administrative support related to business development tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support and Reporting to Regional Manager: Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports on progress, challenges, opportunities and daily tasks, for senior management.
- Identify and Engage Intermediaries: Assist in seeking out and establishing contacts with key intermediaries, including wealth management agents, attorneys, and immigration consultants.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Aid in developing and maintaining strong relationships with B2B partners. Understand their needs and how Mercan’s services can add value.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify market trends and opportunities within the B2B landscape, collaborating with the team to apply insights.
- Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Support the creation and implementation of strategies to capture new business from intermediaries, assisting in the sales process through partnership agreements.
- Proposal and Presentation Development: Prepare tailored proposals and presentations for potential B2B partners.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment with business development initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in business development or sales within a B2B environment is an advantage, particularly in sectors such as immigration, real estate, wealth management, or investment.
- Interest in building and managing relationships with B2B intermediaries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct market research and apply insights to drive business growth.
- Self-starter with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Mandatory: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Additional Language Skills will be valued in this role.
