|About the role

The Risk and Compliance Analyst supports the Senior Manager Risk & Compliance and the department with day-to-day Risk Management, Compliance, Governance and Insurance-related activities

|What Youll Do

General

• Assist the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager in various projects and initiatives
• Work with departments to ensure integrated risk management and compliance
• Help with the preparation of risk reports and the drafting of meeting minutes
• Schedule meetings with relevant stakeholders (internal / external)
• Assist with Governance and Insurance-related activities, where required
• Prepare materials for risk and compliance training and awareness sessions
• Keep up to date the Risk Management and Compliance folders and documentation

Risk

• Assist with AEP Risk Management lifecycle and all it entails, where required

Compliance

• Ensure compliance to policies and procedures set across AEP
• Support the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) program

|Minimum Qualifications

• BA degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Business management, or a related field
• 1-3 years experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or a related field

|Technical and Behavioral Skills

• Basic understanding of risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks
• Previous knowledge and working experience, preferably in the financial industry
• Prompt and proactive to identify and resolve operating issues.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to present thoughts/data in structured manner.
• Flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude, works well with changing timelines and priorities and can proactively manage up

|Preferred Qualifications

• Regional experience in the UAE is preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is considered a strong asset.
