ELV Technician

We are seeking a skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ELV systems, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA system, intercom, and structured cabling.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in ELV systems efficiently.
• Conduct site surveys, cabling, and termination of wires.
• Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients for system integration.
• Keep records of installation and maintenance work.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users when necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV system installation and maintenance.
• Education: Diploma/Certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and structured cabling.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (IP-based systems).
• Hands-on experience with tools and testing equipment.
