Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Design and analyze structural components and systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
2. Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
3. Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering specialists to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and conditions.
6. Provide technical support and guidance during construction to ensure the integrity and safety of the structure.
7. Perform structural assessments and evaluations for renovations, repairs, or retrofitting projects.
8. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create and analyze structural models.
9. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in structural engineering.
10. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license
3. Strong understanding of structural analysis software
4. Experience with structural design and construction techniques
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
