We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in switchgear systems and a proven track record in sales engineering. You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence by leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Provide detailed technical knowledge of switchgear products, systems, and solutions. Assist clients in understanding how our products meet their needs and address their challenges.
Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive sales growth.
Customer Solutions: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and offer tailored switchgear solutions. Prepare and present proposals, technical documentation, and product demonstrations.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Provide feedback to the product development team to help shape future product offerings.
Project Management: Oversee the execution of projects from initial contact through to delivery and installation. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Technical Support: Offer post-sales support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues related to switchgear products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role within the switchgear or electrical equipment industry.
Strong understanding of switchgear systems, electrical distribution, and related technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships and achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
