Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our overall marketing objectives.
  2. Manage social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to cultivate a strong online presence.
  3. Create captivating and informative content (text, images, videos) that showcases our events, highlights speakers/performers, and generates excitement.
  4. Manage social media calendars, ensuring timely content creation and posting.
  5. Run targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach new audiences and drive event registrations.
  6. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Foster a conversation with our audience via social media comments and messages, addressing inquiries and building relationships.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and implement innovative strategies to engage our audience.
  9. Collaborate with other departments (marketing, event planning) to ensure a cohesive brand voice across all channels.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
  2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns for events or similar industries.
  3. Strong understanding of social media best practices and the ever-evolving social media landscape.
  4. Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
