Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process within the company. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing the manufacturing of joinery products to meet quality standards, production targets, and delivery schedules. The position requires managing a team of skilled craftsmen, optimizing efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring smooth operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning:
   1. Develop and implement production schedules.
   2. Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely product delivery.
   3. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
2. Team Management:
   1. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of joinery craftsmen.
   2. Provide training, guidance, and regular performance feedback.
3. Quality Control:
   1. Establish and enforce quality control standards.
   2. Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions to ensure product excellence.
4. Cost Management:
   1. Monitor and control production costs.
   2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
5. Inventory Management:
   1. Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
   2. Minimize stockouts and prevent overstocking.
6. Equipment Maintenance:
   1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
   2. Ensure all equipment operates at optimal performance and adheres to safety standards.
7. Health and Safety:
   1. Enforce workplace safety regulations.
   2. Conduct regular safety inspections and provide safety training to staff.
8. Reporting:
   1. Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and documentation.
9. Ad-hoc Tasks:
   1. Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:
