Job Description

• Utility Design and Coordination: Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of utility infrastructure, including water supply, drainage, electrical, sewage, and telecommunications systems.
  Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of utility systems into roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure.
  
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government authorities, utility service providers, and regulatory bodies such as RTA and TRA to secure necessary permits and approvals.
  Address and resolve utility-related issues with stakeholders to minimize project delays.
  
• Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all utility works comply with RTA standards, local regulations, and safety guidelines.
  Conduct site inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of utility installations.
  
• Project Management Support: Assist project managers in utility-related planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and documentation for submission to stakeholders.
  
• Risk Management: Identify potential utility-related risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project disruptions.
  Monitor and address utility conflicts during construction.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Utility Engineer in infrastructure projects.
  Strong familiarity with RTA standards and procedures is highly preferred.
  Hands-on experience in utility coordination for road, bridge, or large-scale urban projects.
