Job description
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions specific to children, including tooth decay, gum disease, and developmental abnormalities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each child based on their specific needs.
- Perform dental procedures on children, such as fillings, extractions, and pulpotomies.
- Apply preventive measures like fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices and diet recommendations.
- Monitor dental development and assess the need for orthodontic intervention.
- Create a positive and comfortable dental experience for young patients through behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians and orthodontists, for comprehensive patient care.
- Provide dental health education and guidance to children and parents.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
- Specialization and certification in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Valid license to practice as a Specialist Pediatric Dentist.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating dental conditions in children.
- Knowledge of specialized treatment techniques and approaches for pediatric patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with young patients and their parents.
- Ability to create a positive and comfortable dental experience for children.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in treatment planning and execution.
