The Analyzer Design Engineer must be a Bachelor's Degree holder in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation engineering or Metering related Disciplines, shall be responsible for the Design of analyzer infrastructure elements (e.g., sample systems, sample transport loops, shelters/racks, communication systems).
The candidate should be well versed in the use of statistical tools to assess analyzer performance and must be able to perform analyzer engineering calculations (e.g., fast loop lag time, probe wake frequency, ventilation requirements, phase envelopes) as well as create the Function Design Specifications, Cause & Effect, O&M manuals. He must have a working knowledge of design standards including ASME, ASTM, API etc.
The individual will have 3 years working experience related to petrochemical industry.
Knowledge in measurement principles for a variety of common process analyzers, key chemical processes and analyzer communication / transmission protocol and networking consideration for interface to Distributed Control Systems (DCS) & Safety Systems are necessary to be able to meet the job requirements.
Familiarity with field and online analyzer equipment from a variety of vendors (e.g. Siemens, Yokogawa, ABB, Emerson, E+H etc) as well as Industry standards, Country-specific regulations, and local codes are added advantages.
