MEP Project Engineer (Electrical and Plumbing)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled MEP Project Engineer with expertise in Electrical and Plumbing Systems to join our team. The role involves overseeing projects, coordinating with teams, and ensuring work is completed as per local Authority standards, Project Specifications, and approved Drawings.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Electrical and Plumbing Installations
2. Coordinate with Main Contractor, Consultant and Sub-Contractor
3. Review Shop Drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings and local authority standards.
4. Monitor Project progress and resolve technical and coordination issues arising during site execution
5. Ensure all MEP (electrical and plumbing) works are executed as per approved shop drawings, project specifications, and project baseline program.
6. Attend site meetings, discuss project progress, and resolve any technical challenges
7. Communicate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
8. Conduct regular site inspections with consultants and ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings and standards
9. Maintain detailed project records
10. Assist in preparing and managing MEP budgets, cost estimates, and procurement plans.
11. Prepare electrical load schedule as per DEWA standards

Experience: Minimum 4 years in the same field.

Driving license is a must.
