Role Purpose: The Cost Management Associate will be part of high-impact cost management initiatives for a key client in the power sector. The candidate will perform core tasks similar to those in other industries but with a focus on specifics of power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects. The complexity and scale of projects in this sector involve significant capital expenditure, regulatory considerations, and long-term project timelines requiring robust cost management to ensure financial control. The ideal candidate has 5-15 years of experience, has spent a few years in consulting, and possesses a good knowledge of the power sector (useful but not mandatory).

Requisites:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field (mandatory). Consulting attitude; 5-15 years of experience in cost management with a proven track record in the power and utilities sector. Hands-on experience managing multiple cost optimization projects with demonstrated success in delivering results in complex operational environments. Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
Workload/Location: Full-time, Abu Dhabi on ground.
Start Date: Immediate need; the candidate needs to provide availability within 15-20 days after Engagement Confirmation Letter.
Period of Engagement: 6 months with potential for hiring.
