Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute annual preventative maintenance schedules in a way that the annual set production targets can be met, and plant efficiency and run ability is increased.
2. Responsible for all the predictive, reactive maintenance functions (electrical & mechanical), to achieve the up-time requirements on all machines and utilities.
3. To be a part of the management team and recommend and take the required measures, or to make necessary modifications, to increase the efficiency of the plant.
4. Responsible for inventory management with focus on capital investment and the returns on the same, with focus on cost and avoidance of large inventories.
5. Responsible for the development, monitoring, and execution of the annual maintenance budgets. Also, ensure to minimize expenses within the approved budgets.
6. Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment ensuring the safety of team members, and taking necessary actions in case of any violations, works towards continual improvement and safety awareness.
7. Ensure that the utilities of the plant are effectively functioning and supporting the operations.
8. To ensure that the governmental regulations are adhered to, and environmental conditions are met without any deviations from the standards set by the municipality or other related authorities.
9. Hire, train and set the performance standards among the team members in coordination with the HR.
10. Evaluate and review all maintenance / engineering staff performance and establish staff development plan beneficial to the department.
11. Responsible for spare parts management and ensures that critical spares are effectively managed based on availability vs. cost.
12. To enforce and maintain all AIB, ISO, BRC & OH&S standards, with relation to engineering.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in BOPP Industry.
