Restaurant Supervisor
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Handle queries through telephone, fax, and email.
- Be familiar with all outlets, their menus, and be able to sell the best to our guests.
- Ensure the best selection for the guest and maximize revenue through suggestive selling techniques.
- Recommend property dining outlets and assist guests with information and special requests.
- Book restaurant reservation requests, facilitate guest room delivery orders, and input information accurately into the proper systems.
- Contribute to departmental standards and best practices.
- Consistently offer exceptional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Provide lateral service within the hotel whenever needed.
- Be well prepared for a long day’s contribution and utilize time effectively.
- Communicate in a clear and effective manner.
- Arrive at work well-groomed, prepared, and display enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
Essentials:
- Ability to handle luxury guest volumes on a daily basis.
- Ability to work under pressure in a customer service environment.
- Must be flexible and able to work long hours.
- Creative and positive mindset.
- One year of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in F&B or event fields.
- Speed and accuracy, able to manage last-minute activities.
