Job description

• Experience in pre-sales solutions design, including Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI), and bid management processes.

• Ability to design comprehensive cybersecurity portfolios such as SOC services, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.

• Design solutions for Cybersecurity offerings and Managed services.

• Skilled in delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Conduct IT Audits, Security Gap assessments, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), governance and compliance services, and implement Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Ability to prioritize and validate the threats, define principles, policies, standards, and governance.

• Strong background in cloud architecture with experience across multiple domains, including on-premises and cloud-hosted solutions.

• Experience in creating and maintaining technical roadmaps, as well as reviewing new systems and services.

• Understand customer IT/security infrastructure and business requirements to deliver strategic solution selling, solution presentations, and demonstrations, including proof of concepts and business proposals.

• Work closely with the sales team to identify business opportunities (funnel generation) for cybersecurity managed services in the UAE region and ensure conversion from funnel to order book.

• Design security controls and guide their use for both on-premises technologies and cloud-hosted solutions. Ability to work effectively across geographically dispersed teams.

• Ability to work with multiple cybersecurity product/solution vendors in UAE.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 6-8 years of presales experience in cybersecurity or computer networking within large enterprises or related fields, with a strong customer-facing background, including consulting roles and interactions with high-level executives.

• Expertise in Value-Selling: Proficient in value-selling methodology, opportunity management, and proposal management. Capable of building trusted advisory relationships with customers, identifying and analyzing both technical and business requirements, and proposing tailored cybersecurity solutions, including TCO and ROI analyses.

• Solution Design & Deployment: Expertise in understanding customer needs, recommending tailored solutions, planning architecture and deployments, coordinating product demos, and conducting proof of concepts (POCs) in collaboration with principal vendors.

• Technical Skillset: Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with solutions like Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Operations Centers (SOC), email security, OT and IoT security, IT management, Data protection, Data Security and Data Leak Prevention (DLP) solutions.

• Cloud Security: Knowledge of security basics and implementation in cloud environments, with experience deploying services on public cloud providers like AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Identity and Access Management: Experience in the configuration and implementation of Identity Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity and Access Management (IDAM) systems.

• Compliance and Regulatory Frameworks: Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulations in UAE/GCC including NESA, ISO 27001, NIST, SAMA, ADHICS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) – Preferred. Not Mandatory.

• Experience in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.

• Experience in working with Cloud environment for MSP/IT solutions provider.

• Experience in Technical and Business documentation.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Should have relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and decision-makers.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
