We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team at a reputable medical center in Dubai. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming attitude.
Manage patient check-ins ensuring accurate collection and verification of personal and medical information.
Handle inquiries (phone, email, and in-person) related to appointments, services, and general information.
Appointment Scheduling:
Manage and maintain the center's appointment calendar using medical scheduling software.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize scheduling and reduce waiting times.
Administrative Duties:
Process patient registrations and maintain up-to-date records.
Collect payments, issue receipts, and handle billing inquiries.
Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining the reception area's organization.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and other staff members.
Communicate delays or changes in schedules promptly to patients.
Confidentiality and Compliance:
Handle sensitive information in line with confidentiality regulations and clinic policies.
Ensure all procedures comply with UAE healthcare standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and medical scheduling software.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a calm and professional demeanor.
Willing to work in Dubai (Mon-Fri) with 2 days off.
