Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall construction strategy for multiple projects.
- Lead and oversee all site operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee contract negotiation, vendor selection, and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to optimize project execution.
- Address and resolve construction challenges, including delays, budget issues, and resource management.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain construction excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to local construction laws, permits, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and financial forecasting skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and stakeholder coordination.
- Knowledge of construction software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
