Senior QA Engineer

Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Senior QA Engineer for their UAE research and development team. Our employer seeks a proven performer to assist on their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city, and border protection.

Our client is seeking an experienced QA to join an existing R&D team that delivers a challenging, enterprise-scale software project to the customer. The QA will conform to high standards while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Write Test Cases for new modules.
2. Apply testing methodologies to ensure the quality of the delivery.
3. Perform functional, exploratory, and other types of tests on the delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

1. BSc or higher in Computer Science.
2. 3+ years of software testing experience.
3. Proven experience in a Microsoft environment.
4. Innovative, motivated, quick learner, and a team player.
5. Troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
6. Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD).
7. Experience with stability and performance testing – Advantage.
8. Programming/development background (.NET/C# preferable) – Advantage.
