Commercial Manager

Our client is one of the largest consultancies operating in the United Arab Emirates.

They are currently looking to hire a highly experienced Commercial Manager to take the commercial lead on major projects in Dubai.

Duties will include:

1. Effectively managing the resources of projects lifecycle in order to ensure it achieves success of the project outcome and maximises profit.
2. Provide planning, provision and monitoring of commercial support and assurance to the Project Managers and the project delivery team.
3. Identify, manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.
4. Maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment.
5. Maintain a high level understanding of planning and programming to ensure accurate progress reporting.
6. Work with supply chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in terms of cost, quality and learning of all parties.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying or Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 15 years working experience in commercial contracts or holding key management position.
3. Minimum 5 Years Middle East Experience.
4. MRICS Qualification.
5. Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking, decision-making and leadership abilities.
6. Experience in pre and post contracts including procurement.
7. Perfect command of spoken and written English.
8. Ability to perform the Marketing aspect of the Facility Management.
9. Good presentation skills.
10. Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
