The Factory Site Supervisor at ENG will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical for maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets. The Factory Site Supervisor will also ensure adherence to safety protocols and optimal resource utilization.
Production Management:
Supervise production activities to ensure efficiency and timely completion of orders.
Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their performance to meet quality standards.
Review production schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement solutions.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all production activities adhere to ENG’s quality standards.
Conduct inspections at different stages of production to identify defects or issues.
Collaborate with the Quality Control team to maintain product excellence.
Team Supervision and Coordination:
Lead, mentor, and manage factory staff to foster a productive work environment.
Conduct daily briefings to communicate production targets and any updates.
Train workers on best practices, machine operations, and safety guidelines.
Handle worker grievances and escalate issues to the Production Manager when necessary.
Maintenance and Safety:
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations across the factory.
Conduct routine safety inspections and report any hazards or violations.
Resource Management:
Monitor the use of raw materials and minimize waste.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials as required.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare daily production reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
Maintain records of machine maintenance, worker attendance, and production output.
Provide regular updates to the Production Manager on factory performance.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor or similar role in the manufacturing/production industry.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and experience with production management software is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English.
