HSE Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local and international standards.
2. Ensure that HSE policies are communicated to all employees and contractors.
3. Regularly review and update HSE policies to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices.
4. Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential HSE risks.
5. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and control measures.
6. Monitor the effectiveness of risk control measures and make necessary adjustments.
7. Develop and deliver HSE training programs and workshops for employees and contractors.
8. Promote HSE awareness through campaigns, meetings, and other communication channels.
9. Ensure that all personnel are aware of their HSE responsibilities and are trained in emergency response procedures.
10. Investigate HSE incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes.
11. Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
12. Track and ensure the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the energy sector.
3. In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in HSE management software and tools.
