Job Purpose
Plays a crucial role in establishing and enhancing the organization's policy and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational workflows.
This role involves developing, analyzing, and maintaining policies; managing change initiatives; creating and overseeing Delegation of Authority (DoA) and charters; conducting health checks and improvements for governance documents; and aligning DoA with organizational workflows.
By leveraging strategic governance practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Senior Analyst – Policy and Governance supports Modon Holding’s strategic goals and contributes to achieving business excellence.
Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, law, or a related field is required.
- An MBA is preferred.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, including DoA and charters.
- Experience in change management.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties
1. Policy Development and Management
- Lead the development, review, and continuous improvement of organizational policies.
- Ensure that policies are well-aligned with organizational objectives and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and maintain policies, ensuring they are up to date and effectively communicated across the organization.
2. Delegation of Authority (DoA) Development
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Delegation of Authority (DoA) framework.
- Ensure that the DoA aligns with organizational workflows and governance structures.
- Conduct regular health checks and improvements on the DoA to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
3. Charter Development and Oversight
- Develop and maintain charters for various committees and governance bodies within the organization.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of charters to ensure they remain aligned with organizational needs and objectives.
- Oversee the health check process for charters, ensuring continuous alignment with governance best practices.
4. Governance Alignment and Improvement
- Align governance frameworks, including DoA and charters, with organizational workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and implement improvements to governance structures, ensuring they support the organization’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of governance frameworks into daily operations.
5. Change Management
- Lead change management initiatives related to policy and governance updates.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage the impact of changes on the organization, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for governance changes.
6. Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
- Ensure that all policies, DoA, and charters comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status and effectiveness of governance frameworks to senior management.
- Address any compliance issues related to governance and policy implementation.
7. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Work closely with various departments to gather input and feedback on governance and policy initiatives.
- Communicate changes and updates to governance structures effectively across the organization.
- Provide training and support to ensure that employees understand and adhere to governance policies.
8. Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all policies, DoA, and charters.
- Ensure that all governance-related documents are accessible and properly archived for future reference.
9. Support for Business Excellence Initiatives
- Actively support and contribute to other Business Excellence initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with the Business Excellence team to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Provide expertise and guidance on governance-related matters in the context of broader Business Excellence projects.
10. QMS related
- Support QMS strategy implementation and governance.
- Support on QMS maturity assessment and action planning
