Senior Accountant (Urgent Hiring)

Role and Responsibilities:

The role will include but will not be limited to the below tasks:

1. End-to-end recording to reporting of all transactions
2. Monthly closing of the accounts
3. Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance reporting and increase efficiencies
4. Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
5. Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
6. Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
7. Participate in financial standards setting with HQ and in the forecast process
8. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
9. Assist with VAT tax audits and VAT returns
10. Support month-end and year-end close process
11. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
12. Ad-hoc tasks as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelors/ Master’s in finance
• CPA / CA / ACCA is a plus
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workflow
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and programs preferably SAP
• Efficiency and accuracy
• Open to changing role dynamics and requirements within the finance sphere
