Procurement Assistant
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations for goods and services required by the organization.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary documentation, such as price lists, product specifications, and terms of delivery.
- Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
- Prepare purchase orders and contracts accurately, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and address any issues or delays that may arise.
