Senior Planning Engineer

Department: Civil PreContracting

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer with 8-10 years of experience including at least 3 years in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building construction, infrastructure, landscape, and commercial buildings and will be proficient in preparing and submitting detailed project schedules using Primavera (P6).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Scheduling: Prepare and submit Project Schedule Baseline Programs up to Level 6 or Level 7 using Primavera (P6) latest version.
2. Planning Deliverables: Develop and manage planning deliverables such as Manpower & Equipment Plant Histogram, Progress Planned S-Curve, and KPI Histogram.
3. Tender Support: Provide support to the estimation team for tendering purposes.
4. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
5. Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.
6. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and records.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech/BSc).
2. 6-8 years of experience in the UAE with at least 3 years in Abu Dhabi.
3. Proven experience in building construction, infrastructure, landscape, and commercial buildings.
4. Proficiency in using Primavera (P6) for project scheduling.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
