• Prepare contract drafts in English and Arabic within requested commercial scope.
• Specific experience in drafting international sales related contracts such as sale & purchase agreements, distributorship agreements, joint venture and other commercial cooperation agreements, trademark licensing agreements.
• Research and provide proper legal advice in relation to the business activities of the Company.
• Capture relevant legislation related to the business activities of the Company and ensure correct interpretation of such legislation. Comparative law is within your domain of interest.

Job Skills:
• University degree in law.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in an international and multicultural environment.
• Ability to efficiently report to Head of Legal of the organization on dispute status and recommended next steps.
• After consultation with Head of Legal of the company and in cooperation with local counsel, ability to manage lawsuits and other disputes in African and Middle Eastern countries.
• Ability to report regularly to the board of directors of the Company and communicate within the Company with sales, engineering, and other professionals without a legal background, including the ability to conduct in-house legal fact-finding and communicate legal recommendations in ‘human’ language.
• Excellent communication (presentation, negotiation, influencing) skills, both spoken and written in English and Arabic.
• French is welcome.
• Familiarity with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to speak French is a plus.
