Mechanical Engineering Site Superintendent (Abu Dhabi)

Project Phase: EPC (Expected completion Q1 2027)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Site Superintendent for the Zuluf AM Upgrade Ph-II project in Abu Dhabi. This is a key role in overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project and ensuring the successful completion of major brownfield upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the mechanical engineering activities for the upgrade of 10 wellhead platforms.
2. Oversee the installation of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs) and associated mechanical works.
3. Ensure all mechanical works are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
4. Manage the slipovers, new PDM installations, and topside mechanical upgrades.
5. Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of mechanical issues.
6. Monitor and report progress, quality, and cost control for mechanical works.
7. Support the coordination of subsea flow lines and 15kV composite submarine power cables installation.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in site supervision for brownfield upgrades.
3. Proven experience with offshore and subsea mechanical installations, specifically for wellhead platforms.
4. Experience working with large EPC projects, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage site teams and ensure project delivery.
