Job description

To conduct business analysis and assist in implementing technology solutions in an efficient way by determining the requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.

Be a Technology advisor and subject matter expert on Consumer (Retail) Channel Banking Internet Banking, Mobile banking, SMS banking, Wearable banking platforms that support digital transformation.

Establish trusted partnerships with Business, Product Owners, Operations and processing teams, Vendors, Technology and other internal teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Generic Accountability
  2. Seconded from Business, on need basis; Co-exists along with PO only in small & large initiatives for administrative support
  3. Perform business analysis, enhancements and changes
  4. Assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in the developing system training artefacts
  5. Defines service value chains and detailed processes
  6. Articulates functional / non-functional requirements

Specific Accountability

  1. Convert specified and unspecified business needs to technology specifications
  2. Articulate current and future capabilities clearly and confidently to business and technology stakeholders.
  3. Understanding of business and technical architecture, system features and ability to apply this knowledge in projects.
  4. Conceptualize & review solutions for the requirements raised by business teams and coordinate with required stakeholders for delivery.
  5. Participate in all project related activities with regards to requirements gathering, planning, implementation, as well as system & user acceptance testing, GO LIVE and post production support.
  6. Support the Program/project managers and Product Owner in driving the project delivery and meeting business objectives.
  7. Relentlessly be the voice of business and customer while driving technology led business solutions.
  8. Conduct end user training and ensuring the required knowledge transfer to key team members is set in place.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelors degree in related discipline.
  2. 7-10 years of Experience as a BA, preferably in BFS domain
  3. Working Knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
  4. Experience with customer-facing digital channels like Internet and Mobile banking applications
  5. Proficient experience with data visualization
  6. Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management
  7. Proficient technical writing capabilities
  8. Proven analytical abilities
  9. Hands-on experience generating process documentation and reports
  10. Proficiency in Statistical languages, statistical software is good to have
  11. Extensive analytical capability with use of tools
  12. Experience in business change through analytical skills
  13. Knowledge of Agile product ownership practice
