Procurement Officer - Preferably Arabic Speaker

  • Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders on the regular requirements of goods and services and ensure alignment of Purchasing services with overall plans.
  • Support the team in implementing the purchasing strategies and performance management of all Purchasing process related activities such as reviewing evaluation reports and requisition orders to verify accuracy and specifications, and reviewing purchase orders to ensure adherence to overall guidelines.
  • Manage the preparation, renewal, and revision of service contracts mainly that includes purchasing of goods related to AMC's, rehabilitation works, and services required. Coordinate with finance, legal, and the vendor/contractor to ensure all necessary and accurate documents are available and attached.
  • Negotiate agreements and contracts to realize savings for major common products and services.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end procurement processes of all requests received from different internal stakeholders such as PM, Finance, Human Capital, Logistics, Marketing, IT, ERP, HSQE, Health Club & Business Development.
  • Crosscheck paperwork for PR/PO in relation to the establishment of agreements/contracts.
  • Provide periodic contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policies, intimating concerned departments 60 days prior to the expiry of the contract.

Occupational and Workplace Health and Safety Responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Khidmah health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible for familiarizing themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduces new policies, procedures, and practices, and each employee is personally responsible for ensuring they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Khidmah Information Security Policies
  • Be aware of and fulfill their information security responsibilities
  • Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information has taken the Security Awareness Training
  • Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
  • Not disable his/her OS firewall and/or antivirus
  • Restrict use to authorized purposes, protect access accounts, privileges, and associated passwords.

Accept accountability for his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Diploma or BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Professional certifications in CPSM, CPIM, or relevant are a plus.

A minimum of 3-6 years of experience working in procurement as an officer or administrator or supply chain or related field.

1-3 years of experience with the FM industry is preferable.
