Job Description
Exciting Researcher position is available at the United Arab Emirates University. As an enthusiastic and innovative researcher, you will join the Department of Veterinary Medicine and perform research activities in a funded research project entitled “Effect of ritual slaughter of camels on efficiency of slaughter, animal welfare and meat quality”. The successful candidate will assist in implementing the work set out in the Research Grant Proposal. The key laboratory techniques required are likely to be anatomical dissection, radiological verification, ultrasonography, EEG pattern, meat quality analysis etc. The project would suit a veterinarian (anatomist or neurologist) or animal scientist with strong skills and preferably experience in anatomy, radiology, or neurology. The candidate will have to work independently in a laboratory conditions and is expected to have excellent manuscript writing skills. Minimum Qualification
The applicant should have bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine or animal science with experience in anatomy, radiology, neurology, and ultrasonography fields.
Preferred Qualification
Master’s Degree in Veterinary/ Animal/Food Science with thesis on relevant topic to the project (preferable).
