What you'll be doing
The Brand & Creative Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the content department day to day running and finding efficiencies and creating processes that can manage the team's workflow more effectively. They will be the most senior point person between commercial Brand Partnerships (multi-brand and concessions) and content creation, managing the end-to-end production process from pitch to publishing, implementing efficiencies in processes, developing, optimising, and overseeing the Level content calendar. They have full ownership of the content budget and tracking system (with visibility on social and studio spending), and mentor a team of writers (Marketing Copywriter x1 and Product Copywriters x2). They act as the tone of voice guardian of EN language, developing and managing company style guides across all digital platforms and in-store experiences, and liaise with Marketing & Communications on the treatment of all written customer-facing collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Creative Director to manage brand partnerships workflow and resource capacity to improve processes, targeting a specific audience and meeting company objectives.
- Work closely with Brand Partnerships team to ensure the content created and proposed aligns with Level's point of view and the workflow and timelines are manageable.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the brands from the initiation to execution of the content partnership.
- Contribute to the brands' content and customer experience, providing copy that is engaging, innovative, and in touch with the customer mindset.
- Own and oversee the Content Budget, balancing against social and studio budget shared spends.
- Own and oversee the content calendar, readjusting processes where necessary and overseeing its pre-planning, development, and execution, with the support from the other creative leads.
- Overseeing the workflow of content writers and creative collaborators.
- Maintain and monitor all copy used across website, CRM, and PR and marketing material, ensuring it is captivating and in line with the Level tone of voice and brand positioning.
- Assimilate insights from creative meetings, product kick-offs, and cross-functional planning meetings to provide efficient, practical future ways of working cross functionally.
- Lead a team responsible for product copywriting, CRM and marketing content for both Retail and eCommerce.
- Support the creative evolution of Level by staying abreast of what is fresh, competitive, and forward-thinking.
- Maintain a consistent, relevant tone of voice for the brand.
- Support Creative director in ensuring an editorial point of view is maintained across all channels.
