Our client is looking to hire a Research Technician who will support faculty and graduate students in conducting scientific research within the university. This role involves assisting with experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and managing data.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of experiments and research projects.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
Collect, analyze, and document research data accurately.
Prepare samples and reagents for experiments.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with team members and provide support in various research tasks.
Contribute to the preparation of research reports and publications.
Participate in training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline).
Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in standard laboratory techniques and equipment.
