Structural Steel Fabricator

A Structural Steel Fabricator plays a key role in the construction industry by fabricating and assembling structural steel components. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure steel components are fabricated according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Cut, shape, and weld steel components
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to resolve design issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of fabricated steel components
• Operate various tools and equipment safely
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fabricator or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and manipulate heavy steel components
