Solutions Architect – Corporate Banking

Note: The first round is an online test on Gorilla for 1.5 hours. Candidates ready to give rest shall only apply.

Core domain and techno-functional competencies:

1. Experience with implementation and production support of corporate banking solutions is a MUST to apply for this role.
2. Experience in corporate banking products and services is a MUST.
3. Experience in core banking systems (such as Temenos, Finacle, Oracle, etc.) is a MUST.
4. Experience in designing and using APIs, microservices, and integration solutions is a MUST.
5. Strong experience with implementation and production support for one or more of the below domains.
6. Strong experience in digital journey for corporate banking clients.
7. Strong experience in architecting integration of applications to create bespoke solutions for large corporates.
8. Take up on-call rotation role and provide 24/7 technical support.
9. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently, provide root cause analysis, and provide permanent resolution.
10. Graphical reporting for the health of supported systems.
11. Coordination with respective product owner(s) for strategic enhancements to improve the systems' resilience.

Functional Competencies:

1. Understanding of corporate banking products and services.
2. Knowledge of UAE banking regulations, Central Bank guidelines, Open Banking, and international banking standards.
3. Insight into risk assessment, fraud detection, and mitigation strategies.
4. Understanding of payment systems, transaction processing, and settlement mechanisms.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex banking challenges.
6. Flexibility to adapt to the rapidly changing banking landscape and new technologies.
7. Knowledge of best practices for change management and code releases.

Technical Competencies:

1. Experience in software development, including proficiency in programming languages (Java, .NET Core) and frameworks.
2. Strong hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and moderate knowledge of NoSQL databases (like MongoDB).
3. Proficiency in cloud platforms and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure).
4. Experience in designing and using APIs, microservices, and integration solutions.
5. Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data privacy regulations, and security architecture.
6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
7. Awareness of emerging technologies in Fintech, such as blockchain, AI/ML, and digital wallets.
8. Proficiency in architectural design tools (Visio, Draw.io).
9. Familiarity with project management software (JIRA, Confluence).
