Overview The Aerial Coach will instruct both children and adults in foundational aerial skills utilizing apparatus such as silks, hoops, and trapeze. This role emphasizes enhancing physical fitness, coordination, and self-confidence. The successful candidate will create age-appropriate lesson plans, uphold safety standards, and cultivate a supportive learning atmosphere that promotes individual growth and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Student Assessments: Conduct trial sessions for junior candidates to appropriately place them in classes based on age and ability.
Program Development: Design a handbook outlining the Junior program for parents along with a metric system to track student progress.
Communication: Reach out to parents for term renewals and follow up with leads for new enrollments.
Certificates and Reports: Create and distribute certificates for students at the term's end and compile progress reports at midterm and end-of-term.
Performance Organization: Coordinate demonstrations for parents at the end of each term.
Parent Relations: Address inquiries or concerns from parents, seeking assistance from the Program Manager when necessary.
Attendance Management: Ensure accurate tracking of class attendance and member participation.
Adult Program Coordination: Deliver quality adult classes on time and manage personal training session bookings.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in aerial arts or related fields.
Relevant qualification/certification required.
Experience in teaching kids' classes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
