QC (Civil Construction)

Micah Solutions FZE is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Engineer specializing in Civil Construction to join our client's esteemed team. As a QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and quality of construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for civil construction projects
2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality specifications and safety regulations
3. Review construction materials, processes, and workmanship to ensure adherence to project requirements
4. Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly
5. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, quality documentation, and corrective action plans
6. Train project teams on quality control standards and best practices
7. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and quality assurance techniques related to civil construction

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the civil construction industry
3. Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes and methodologies
4. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
5. Proficient in inspection tools, documentation software, and Microsoft Office Suite
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in Quality Control (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards) is a plus
2. Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations in the construction industry
