About Our Client
Our client is a successful global investment management firm which is currently looking for an associate in financial reporting. The firm invests across multiple jurisdictions through a number of strategies, with an accent on long term, stable financial growth.

What the job involves
The associate plays a key role in completing all accounting entries to ensure accurate and timely data records are created, and communicating information, findings and key narratives to diverse stakeholders. The individual will have a purview across asset classes.

1. Be a proactive and engaged member of the accounting and financial service team
2. Develop sustainable processes with regard to new investments
3. Assist with the production of the weekly cash book
4. Verify weekly pricing of investment securities
5. Review trades captured by external fund administrators
6. Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems
7. Review collateral calculations provided by loan calculation agents
8. Assist with the annual audit process
9. Communicate effectively discussion points of interest with the wider stakeholder community

Who we are looking for

1. The role would suit an individual with experience in a tier one audit or accounting firms, or a custodian to banks and asset managers
2. CA qualification is desirable, as well as strong academics in business, finance, accounting or similar
3. Highly numerate, and with strong people skills in communication and presentation.
