Junior Compliance Officer

We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer with a focus on SCA regulations to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of the UAE&aposs regulatory landscape, especially in relation to SCA regulations and licensing requirements. The candidate must hold the necessary CISI-SCA certifications for the role. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with all applicable regulatory requirements, adhering to SCA standards, and managing licensing, reporting, and other compliance-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the entire company complies with SCA regulations and guidelines, including continuous adherence to licensing obligations.
2. Serve as the main point of contact for all regulatory bodies, particularly the SCA, addressing compliance-related queries.
3. Keep track of regulatory changes and provide timely updates and recommendations to management.
4. Oversee the SCA licensing and registration process for the company and its employees, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of applications and renewals.
5. Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure SCA compliance across all operations.
6. Conduct internal audits and evaluations to verify the companys adherence to both local and international compliance standards.
7. Manage regulatory filings and ensure timely submission of reports to the SCA and other relevant authorities.
8. Provide compliance training and support to staff, ensuring full understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
9. Investigate any potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective measures where needed.
10. Collaborate with external auditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Compliance Officer within the UAE financial sector, with strong emphasis on SCA regulations.
2. In-depth knowledge of SCA regulations, licensing requirements, and other relevant compliance standards.
3. CISI-SCA certification is required.
4. Strong understanding of financial markets, securities, and commodities in the UAE.
5. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
6. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing compliance risks.
7. Proficiency in compliance monitoring tools and reporting systems.
