Full job description

A fleet coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operations of a company's fleet of vehicles. They work closely with drivers, mechanics, and management to ensure that vehicles are functioning properly and meeting organizational needs. Key responsibilities of a fleet coordinator include:

  1. Developing and maintaining schedules for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  2. Coordinating vehicle reservations, usage, and maintenance requests.
  3. Monitoring and tracking vehicle inventory to ensure adequate supply levels.
  4. Managing driver schedules and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  5. Communicating with drivers to ensure that they are aware of their schedules and responsibilities.
  6. Working with mechanics to coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  7. Performing periodic vehicle inspections to ensure that they are in good working order.
  8. Coordinating with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management.
  9. Monitoring and analyzing fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  10. Preparing reports related to fleet operations and presenting them to management.
  11. Managing the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of vehicles.
  12. Coordinating with vendors to ensure that repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
  13. Managing inventory levels of spare parts and equipment used for repairs.
  14. Developing and maintaining an effective preventive maintenance program to maximize the lifespan of the fleet.
  15. Scheduling and dispatching drivers for deliveries and pick-ups.
  16. Keeping detailed records of vehicle maintenance and repair activities, as well as fuel consumption and other metrics.
  17. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including UAE regulations, environmental regulations, and local laws.
  18. Awareness about CICPA, LOA, ADNOC related rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 03 years UAE experience in fleet coordination, transportation, oil and gas, logistics preferred.
  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills in English and Hindi.
  4. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  7. Familiarity with regulations related to vehicle maintenance and safety.
  8. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
