Job Description
- Assist in driving sales by developing innovative merchandising strategies tailored to the local market.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement operational initiatives that enhance customer experience and store efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of motivation and high performance through regular feedback and training.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing shrinkage through effective loss prevention strategies.
- Conduct regular store audits and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with company policies and standards.
- Engage with customers to build lasting relationships, resolving issues promptly to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members, ensuring alignment with company values and culture.
- Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify trends, making recommendations for product selection and promotional efforts.
- Act as a key point of contact for operational challenges, effectively communicating with upper management to resolve issues swiftly.
- Support visual merchandising efforts by ensuring displays are attractive, well-maintained, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail management experience, with a focus on customer service and team leadership.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving store performance in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems, with hands-on experience in stock control processes.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus to cater to diverse customer bases.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in retail software and point-of-sale systems, coupled with strong computer literacy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the retail environment.
