Job Description
Job Objective: This position reports directly to the Commercial Manager and is responsible for technical sales within the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, and East African regions. The RSM should utilize Ingenia’s expertise, quality of products, and technical edge to gain sales at an appropriate margin while managing internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Key Accountabilities:
- Increase the customer base within the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, and East African regions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to complete the sales process from customer approach to manufacturing and shipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to meet contract requirements.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer contract requirements.
- Minimize delays in production, shipments, and issues with government entities.
- Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to develop solutions and enhance company performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a safe working environment appropriate to the tasks undertaken.
- Participate in internal training sessions related to Ingenia’s know-how and product development.
- Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Leadership:
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer contract requirements.
- Minimize delays in production and shipments.
Communication & Working Relationship:
Internal:
- Regular interaction with employees to understand the organization’s pulse.
- Respond promptly to customer issues and resolve them appropriately.
- Conduct employee meetings and training events.
- Build effective communications across functional groups (Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Technical Service).

External:
- Regular interaction with customers to understand their needs.
- Respond promptly to customer issues and resolve them appropriately.
- Conduct regular customer visits.
- Build effective communication across functional groups and with customers.
- Interpret and determine policy and procedures as approved by the company.
- Assist in defining and developing Customer Service standards and procedures.
- Represent the company in complaint resolution and special service requests.
- Travel to Ingenia office locations within GCC as needed.
- Establish target areas to maximize sales.
- Set sales strategies and schedule personnel travel.
- Coordinate evaluations of defective products with LAB personnel.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
- MBA is a plus.
- 10 – 15 years of progressive polymer sales and/or technical service experience.
- Experience dealing with large customers at senior levels.
- Experience in cross-functional issues in a dynamic manufacturing organization.
- Experience in leading teams.
- Experience in supply chain management & logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing methods.
- Deep knowledge of international polymer markets and producers.
- Knowledge of polymer resin manufacturing and downstream processes.
- Extensive overnight travel is required (25%-50% Travel).
- Strong conceptual thinking and organizational skills.
- Team leadership experience.
