We are currently recruiting for a full-time Receiving Officer/Storekeeper to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a Receiving Officer/Storekeeper, you are responsible to receive, inspect, record, and check the contents to ensure they match the orders. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

Receiving Officer

  • To ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them properly.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to list expected deliveries.
  • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.).
  • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
  • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.

Store Keeper

  • Ensuring the store is kept clean and organized.
  • Issuing beverages accordingly with the approved requisition.
  • Ensuring all beverages have proper labeling and are well arranged in the store.
  • Re-ordering beverage items and coordinating with F&B Team accordingly on their new orders, including short expiry items.
  • Able to do monthly inventory on beverages promptly.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry. You should be able to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be quality-oriented with a focus on details. High performance standards, ability to multitask & meet deadlines, and technical proficiency in related software are preferable.
