Manufacturing Operator

Responsibilities:

1. Completes documentation, including logbooks, batch production, control records and any other record needed.
2. Work according to the standard operating procedure of the machine and according to the process steps in the Batch manufacturing and packaging record.
3. Sterilizes all equipment and keeps a safe and hygienic work environment.
4. Weighs, measures, subdivides, and dispenses components.
5. Labels new containers, all machines and rooms used during production.
6. Performs yield calculations after each phase.
7. Complies with all Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations and other company and industry policies and procedures.
8. Perform sterilization and maintenance checks including cleaning out-of-place (COP), cleaning in-place (CIP) and servicing in-place (SIP).
9. Operate the machinery safely and effectively for manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along production lines.
10. Setup the production equipment and supplies before beginning a new batch.
11. Keep production area in optimum clean conditions and according to cGMP standards to avoid accidental mix-ups & possible cross contamination. This applies to both:
    • Environment and area cleanliness.
    • Personal hygiene of production personnel.
12. Responsible for machine change over from product to another product.
13. Responsible for transfer of product from one step to another.
14. Responsible for operating in any of the manufacturing or packaging machine or even manual packaging.
15. Escalates any major issues to management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Must have minimum 2 years working experience in pharmaceutical industry.
