Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively receives customers, fully observing NSSW standards on all aspects, from vehicle receiving until vehicle delivery.
  2. Secures needed vehicle information and documents from customer, especially the Warranty booklet during the first service. Verifies the vehicle and customer details and/or updates on the system, especially for the vehicles coming for the first time, i.e., for first service.
  3. Prepares all the necessary documentation as per AS-DOS standards.
  4. Discusses and gets the consent of the customer for the needed repair/service including the charges and the expected work completion.
  5. Coordinates with the Job Controller for appropriate workshop loading, in order to avoid delays.
  6. Follows up the work progress, and in case additional job/s arise, consults the customer and gets their approval before proceeding with the job. Keeps the customer updated/informed for any changes/delays or variations from the initial agreement.
  7. Once the work is completed, verifies that all the customer requests were done, and records were completed. If so, informs the customer and sets for the delivery appointment.
  8. Updates/records all the necessary information in Autoline.
  9. Explains clearly the charges and all the work carried out during vehicle delivery.
  10. Follows up with a call, as the basis of building a long-term relationship with customers.
  11. Maintains a high level of quality interaction with customers at each step of the role.
  12. Maintains harmonious relationships among staff and strives to work towards the attainment of the department's objectives.
  13. Reports to/consults the immediate supervisor or the Service Manager for any untoward incident or problem that further needs a managerial decision.
  14. Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.

  1. Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Line Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
  2. Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Line Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
  3. Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
  4. Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
