E & I Sr. Project Engineer (Oil & Gas)

We are currently recruiting for an E & I Sr. Project Engineer (Oil & Gas) for our client to be based out of their Abu Dhabi.

Responsibility-

• Developing and review electrical and instrumentation design documents, including specifications, drawings, and equipment lists, and oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems in oil and gas facilities.
• Strong background in managing engineering projects, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Ensure the designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Proper coordination with procurement team to develop the electrical and instrumentation procurement strategy, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage the execution of electrical and instrumentation works on-site, ensuring work is completed according to project schedules, cost estimates, and quality standards.
• Monitor the progress of work, reviewing and resolving any issues related to technical challenges, scope changes, or delays.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including power distribution, process control, instrumentation, and automation systems. Familiarity with oil and gas-specific safety regulations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support throughout the project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills-

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. UAE Attested.
• Preferably with Equivalency Certificate.
• 10 years of experience with Oil & Gas in UAE.
